This is the second birth I captured for this family and to say it was COMPLETELY different from the previous birth is an understatement.
Isaiah was born at The Midwife Center in Pittsburgh, without an epidural and less than five minutes after I arrived; the doula walked in a few minutes later so this mama rocked it with the help of her amazingly supportive husband and the midwives.
These are the images I chose to share (a lot due to modesty), if you are pregnant and looking for a mostly hands off atmosphere, where you can deliver your baby safely and in the position you choose (hence the modesty lol), then the midwife center could be for you! Forget stirrups , haha.
They just revamped it and it is now the largest freestanding birth center in the nation; pretty amazing right?
