For the longest time my husband and I (as well as our children) were the only “close” relatives to his parents; close as in 7 minutes away. That all changed this past year when his youngest sister, her husband, and their baby girl Finley moved back home from Colorado. We know the move has been hard and there are some aspects of CO that they insanely miss, but Fin is now being raised knowing her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins that live in Pittsburgh. It’s been such a blessing to finally have them home and to be able to watch Fin grow into the adorable girl she is. I know that my girls absolutely love spending time with their Aunt Beana and Uncle Juddy, and every time they get around Finley they are all up in her grill trying to love on her. So it’s even more exciting for us close relatives to be able to share in the excitement that Finley Kate is turning ONE! And I got to take her first year portraits, and hope that these show those distant aunts and uncles the joy that Finley is. She is such a happy girl who will make you smile just by looking at her cute little face. For now I’m going to share her family portraits and on her birthday I’ll share her actual cake smash! We love you Finley Kate!
How beautiful are these two??
Because it wouldn’t be a true family portrait session without an outtake:
